TV No Picture but Sound Works
When audio plays normally and the screen stays black, the television is running — only the image is not reaching your eyes. That narrows the fault to the backlight, the driver or the panel signal path.
Symptoms you may notice

- Screen lights briefly at switch-on and then goes dark

Possible causes
LED driver fault
The driver section that powers the backlight fails, or goes into protection because of a short in the strings.
T-Con board issues
The board that drives the panel can fail, producing a black or garbled display while the rest of the set works.
Loose panel connections
Ribbon cables disturbed during shifting or wall mounting can interrupt the signal to the panel.

- Torch test at close range to confirm the panel is producing an image
- Backlight driver voltage measurement
- T-Con supply and signal presence
- Panel ribbon seating and connector condition
- External source verification on a second input

- Confirm the set is not on a blank input by pressing the menu button
